We provide bespoke collaborative and formal support packages to individuals, schools or subject areas based on school priorities. Essential to our support is the culture promoted, enabling schools to share expertise alliance wide with schools self-identifying a development need.
Our formal support packages (NLEs, LLEs etc.) contribute significantly to improving the outcomes for children through developing the capacity of peer leaders in other schools.
Through wide-ranging powerful partnerships, TTSA provides bespoke support tailored to meet the need of individual schools. TTSA is passionate about collaboration enabling expertise to be shared and developed following a co-operative methodology. Our intention is to promote a climate where schools are confident and reassured to share expertise or self identify requests for support, proactively promoting continuous improvement in our schools.
We have a whole spectrum of support available to primary schools and special schools via our National Leaders of Education (NLEs) and National Support Schools. We also have Pupil Premium Reviewers within TTSA and are able to provide PE and Sports Premium Reviews.
National Leaders of Education (NLEs)
National Leaders of Education (NLEs) are outstanding Headteachers or principals who, together with the staff in their schools, use their skills and experience to support schools in challenging circumstances. In addition to leading their own schools, NLEs work to increase the leadership capacity of other schools to help raise standards.
Local Leaders of Education (LLEs)
Local Leaders of Education (LLEs) are successful Headteachers with a proven track record of supporting other schools, and with the capacity to work alongside other heads, to drive forward improvements and build capacity to ensure that improvements can be sustained.
The aim of the Local Leaders of Education Programme is to improve pupil outcomes through partnership working between schools and academies.
Specialist Leaders in Education (SLEs)
SLEs are outstanding middle and senior leaders who have the skills to support individuals or teams in similar positions in other schools. They understand what outstanding leadership practice in their area of expertise looks like and are skilled in helping other leaders to achieve it in their own context. We are in the process of recruiting SLEs.
Pupil Premium Review
A pupil premium review looks at how your school is spending its pupil premium funding. The purpose of the review is to improve the school’s pupil premium strategy, so that you spend the funding on approaches shown to be effective in improving the achievement of disadvantaged pupils.
The reviewer is an independent, experienced leader with a track record of making these improvements for disadvantaged pupils.
PE and Sports Premium Review
A PE and Sport Premium Review looks at how the school is spending the PE and Sport Premium Review funding. The purpose of the review is to improve the school’s PE and Sport Premium Strategy, so that they spend the funding on approaches that will be effective in funding additional and sustainable improvements to the provision of PE and sport, for the benefit of all pupils AND to encourage the development of healthy, active lifestyles.
