TTSA continues to have a strong partnership with The University Manchester. Since 2015 we have worked closely with a number of departments:
- ◦ From 2015 – 2021 we partnered with the University's Initial Teacher Education (ITE)/Initial Teacher Training (ITT) in delivering our School Direct programme.
- ◦ From 2016 – 2020 we worked closely with the Coalition of Research Schools (CoRS) from the Centre for Equity in Education within the University of Manchester. Set up in 2011, CoRS invites schools to commit to and participate in research activities to inform their development. The enquiries are concerned with finding effective ways of improving the achievement of all pupils, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds. To date, Sue Goldrick and her team have supported with over 50 TTSA research projects.
- ◦ We have been partnering with SEERIH since 2015. SEERIH (Science and Engineering Education Research and Innovation Hub) is a nationally recognised hub of science and engineering education specialists. We offer innovative continuous professional development programmes for teachers to ensure high-quality learning outcomes for young people.
